OOOOOOOOOH, there are going to be (supposedly) 4 AOS novels released next year.
And a new Saavik book. ♥ I love me some Saavik, either face.
I wish I was more familiar with the current crop of authors bouncing around (other than ADF, who sucks but could be worse, I guess). Then I'd know whether to be excited or vaguely horrified, although I'm very often both when it comes to this fandom, regardless. I love the books, I just can't help it. Even a huge fandom like Star Trek doesn't produce a lot of coherent, gen novels and if given the choice, that's what I'll read over pretty much everything else.
(My next read is My Enemy, My Ally, excitement!)
On a related note, I know I've already changed my mood theme several times in the last few months, but a Women of Star Trek theme! Must not change again... so shiny... blerg. I saw an animated New Kirk theme the other day as well. I refused to look at the horny theme, so as to maintain my resolve not to download it.
