Vague TV Thoughts
30 Rock has been a little sluggish lately, still funny but not quite "I can't even believe this is happening right now" funny, but I laughed so hard at this last night I almost whizzed lizzed all over myself. The entire episode was the best in a while, IMO.
WHY ISN'T IDRIS ELBA FUNNY ON THE OFFICE? UGH, RAGE VIRUS. They're using him all wrong, it's making me so sad. Worst use of an awesome actor since Vogler on House.
Lost was super mindfucky this week, I really liked it. Even if I have no idea how that will work. Seriously, how does that work?
The penultimate Life on Mars episode was just as confusing. So Windy is Kara Thrace, or what? Imaginary checkers are the new pigeon? AND WTF PETE HORNBERGER, I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU.
American Chris is so cute, though. God I just want to pinch his little cheeks, he is SO CUTE.
What else have I watched? The Big love finale was good, I think it set up Season 4 to be very interesting. I've also (finally) really been watching In Treatment, and JFC I hate almost every character, it's painful. I want to slap Josh Charles, which is just insanity. There are things I like about it (Melissa George's accent not being one of them), the one room setting and theater/acting exercise feel, and Mia Wasikowska is AMAZING. But sweet hey zeus, I don't think I can do Season 2.
