Tricia Helfer is going to appear in the Human Target pilot. (The new Chi McBride/Mark Valley/Jackie Earle Haley potential Fox series.)
#1) Awesome to see her getting so much work, she really deserves it and #2) Wow, I'm really looking forward to seeing this, hopefully it makes it to air, that is an out of control cast.
And hey, if you saw a huge fireball in the sky in DC today, apparently that's part of the CBS pilot for the new Gina Torres/Eddie Cibrian/Teri Polo/Cole Hauser series Washington Field. Torres is the only one I am a true fan of, but I imagine it has a pretty good chance of making it to series with that cast, especially if they axe Cold Case, The Unit, and/or Without a Trace.
But I've been wrong before, I'm still annoyed that Alan Tudyk and Joshua Jackson legal drama never made it to air a couple of years ago, even if Carol Mendelsohn was the producer. Lots of political/legal and medical dramas in the running this year on CBS and the other networks, heh Trauma and Medical Trauma... no one misses ER that much, guys. But I guess the networks are finally running out of possible crime procedurals, especially once Fox made a "I can just look at you and tell if you're guilty" show. (Although ABC's "Detective uses brilliant 11-year-old brother to solve crimes" series... LOL.)
