Long non-porny stories anyone?
I swear there was still a loooooooot of time until my trip to New York. Except that it seems to start day after tomorrow, so I need to be done packing tomorrow, specifically filling up my ebook reader for the flights and so forth.
I'm looking for recs for longer stories (say beginning at 10,000 words). John/Rodney (Hewligan or Joe/David is okay, too, though I don't expect there to be that many).
Some wishes:
* Happy end is a must
* Preferably no (detailed) sex scenes (this might be the hardest requirement)
* No John being or having been deeply in love with someone else
* No John having casual sex with canon characters (other than Rodney if that's how they start out, though that's likely to violate the no sex scenes thing)
* Should be romantic and focus on John and Rodney's growing relationship (I like interesting plots, but John/Rodney should be more than incidental)
* Should be available in a single file (or few files)
If it fits all those and is a great story to boot, let me know. Fan favorites are welcome. I read so randomly that I might have missed it.
