I wrote 31799 words in June, which is more than twice the next highest number of words I've written in a month this year (14k back in January).

Course Correction Light R. John/Rodney. Rodney/Jennifer established. AU. 5137 words. Rodney is married to Jennifer and working in a company when he realizes he's just going through the motions. He calls Sam years after he declined to sign the NDA required to even get a job offer from the military. Sam doesn't give him a job immediately, but when the next planet threatening crisis looms, a Lt. Col. John Sheppard picks Rodney up and changes his whole life...
The Night before the Wedding PG-13. John/Rodney. Established relationship. 1984 words. It's the night before their wedding, but when Rodney catches John leaving the house, his imagination goes overboard... (written for the McSheplets "Prepare" challenge)
Protector NC-17. John/Rodney. AU. 106565 words. (~20k this month). My Extreme Big Bang story. The first draft is finally finished. I'll hurry to give it another read through and fix a few things (the mechanics of Rodney's shield is driving me nuts, and I might want to cut out some of the discussion about fighting the Wraith because I'm not sure anyone will care about the details), so that I can have two people go over it in time for posting in approximately a month.
On the AO3 posting front, I moved on to July 2008. I'm at 253 works now, which means I've added eight stories since the last report. Most were old. The newly posted fics were the two McSheplets challenge answers Prenuptial Agreement and Stuck in the dark.
I'm so glad I don't have to add another paragraph about still not having finished the Extreme Big Bang story ;) Expect a post with beta/SPAG requests soon...
