The other day I saw on AOL "Atlantis Return Remains Up in the Air" and I thought they were talking about the mythological city of Atlantis and I was all like thinking, 'You mean they actually found the city?!'
Turns out they were talking about the space shuttle Atlantis. (Proof I have been watching too much Stargate Atlantis.)
But still, me being sick makes my mind think weird strange thoughts and makes me possibly a tiny bit delirious.
Which brings me to my other point: I've been sick since Wednesday and no one updates their Livejournal, Twitter, Facebook anymore which forced me to work on my 7 page essay for anthropology all weekend. Not that I blame anyone for that but...usually I come on my friends list, find a bunch of posts. This weekend I didn't. Although what posts there were I read and then that was the end of procrastinating and I went back to writing my essay.
And writing essays whilst sick, also doing math homework, is no fun at all. My brain doesn't operate/think. Which is why I thought they were talking about the mythological city of Atlantis yesterday. (I still LOL at that. I told my brother that tonight and just burst out laughing.)
And I don't know what I have--flu? IDK. When I was a kid having the flu meant more than just laying in bed too weak to stand or reluctant to stand because I feel lightheaded whenever I try to stand. But seriously, last Wednesday I was just so...weak. I would stand, the world would spin a little bit, I would feel light headed, and so I didn't go to yoga or math that day (which bad me. I had a math assignment to turn in and wasn't able to make it). I also had the fever apparently :/ or so mom could tell just by the old fashioned method (you know, the hand on the forehead method).
Then Thursday I managed to go to anthro and still felt a little weak on my legs that when I stood at the end of the class to go I wavered slightly/just a bit but it still made me go, 'Clearly I am not up for class still', so I skipped the class after anthro entirely, went home. Thankfully I didn't have to go to choir that night because I still felt light headed/weak.
But now I'm slightly better. Not 100%, though, but getting there. And almost finished with 7 page essay yay! I didn't procrastinate! And I still have math to do which I'll get to eventually. And my yoga final.
And I'm almost (2 episodes left) finished with Stargate Atlantis season 1 so yay about that too!
