Yesterday was so awesome! I mean as far as birthday's go and all.
So, now I have this large, movie-sized Serenity poster hanging up in my room and I absolutely love adore it. It's so huge though! Like 27x40. But I love it, you know? It's not everyday you get a large movie-sized theatrical poster hung up in your room.
We even got a nice and sturdy frame for it, so it's all framed and hopefully safe from harm.
Also, yesterday we went to the mall and got See's Candy, as well as a bunch of DVDs. It's unbelievable. We got Serenity (of course), the Rent soundtrack (which I love), Battlestar Galactica season 2, and other movies and shows. The first two were for my birthday and the others were...let's just call them 'gifts' for now, shall we? :D and then we went to Best Buy and I was able to located Due South season 3 and save a ton of money on it! It has the first half of the episodes you generally get on Amazon's season 3 and the other half from the other half you get off Amazon. But the episodes are all together (unlike Amazon *growl*) and it was very, very cheap (again, unlike Amazon *grr* I think they ship theirs from Canada directly. That's a good reason for so much money to spend when getting it off online). So I'm happy with Due South season 3. Although they don't have Callum on the cover! All I see is old Ray and Fraser. Where's the new Ray?
And then we went to Ruby's yesterday for dinner and it was good. My dinner was good, plus the fries. Oh so good...
and we came home and opened presents and now I have two more snowglobes to add to my collection, a thing Grandma picked up in Alaska, new pajamas, the Firefly soundtrack, and an IPOD. I swear, at first I guessed in was an iPod earlier, but mom dismissed it.
It's my first iPod ever. Dad was all saying that that's my car, the iPod, because it costed so much money and all. Yeah...thanks, dad, for telling me that! I mean, I still love the iPod and all, but I wish I still had a car of my own, maybe a Monte Carlo.
Oh yeah, Kelly finally passed his driving test. He is now an official driver (but we still both possess the Saturn. And the car's still called Serenity) and we're driving to the Sci-Fi Club party today. Or, I'll drive and he'll direct me.
God, I can not wait until I take the driving test next month!
Oh, oh! And I didn't get sick again on this birthday!! :) yes, I know, but when I was young, specifically around eight or so, I had the flu for my birthday. I have to say, that was the worst birthday ever that I can remember so far.
