This hasn't happened in a long time. Not like this anyway.
I've become a fan of someone on TV before. Even become obsessed (in a good, non-stalkery kind of way) with an actor or a singer or whatever. That's nothing new.
But I don't think that it has happened quite this quickly, ever.
I saw a guy in a YouTube clip yesterday. Totally random. I didn't know his name, didn't know who he was... but all it took was one glimpse, one smile... and I was smitten.
And since yesterday I've done nothing but watch clips with him in it. I googled his name, found out what he does and why he's earned a seat on "The Voice" (US version) and learned all about his (apparently epic) bromance with Adam Levine.
I also learned that there's rumors about him having a drinking problem and rumors about his marriage being in trouble because of him cheating on his wife. I don't know what to believe and what not.
Nevertheless, I'm amazed by him, his charisma, his attractiveness. And I'm amazed that he's exactly my age. And I'm amazed by his voice (though I'm not a big fan of his music style - but one song is great, I actually liked it before, in another version sung by Michael Buble).
He's gotten under my skin.
BTW, his name is Blake Shelton and he's a famous american Country Singer.
fangirling,
