Holiday Plans

I haven't talked about this years' upcoming vacation and what my plans are, have I?
Well, for a while there I wasn't sure I would have any plans, let alone as big ones as last year. But now I know better.

This year, late August / early September to be exact, I will be traveling to England once again. And once again I'll be staying in different places, traveling around by train and bus.
BUT, as opposed to last summer, I will not be doing my travels alone. My big sister is coming with me, jippie!

Sadly enough we were only able to settle on eight days together where our vacation overlaps and no other dates are to be attended. My sister has to work till August, 29th and on September, 8th our niece has her first day of school and we have to be there.
So our trip has to be squeezed in. From August, 30th to September, 6th we will go.
We'll take a plane from Bonn to London where we will be staying for two nights. We plan to take a sightseeing tour by bus, visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour nearby (where the Harry Potter films were made), and I also intend to go take a look at 187, North Gower Street. Of course fellow Sherlockians will know what's with that. Others... well, your loss. I hope my sister is okay with that, though she's not into Sherlock. Well, I'll drag her there, come what may.
From London our trip will take us on Saturday, September the 1st to North Cornwall, to Boscastle to be exact. We'll be staying another two nights in an amazingly looking B&B, The Old Coach House. We plan to do a bit of walking along the South West Coast Path (like I did last year). And while doing that we want to take a look at Tintagel and the old castle ruins. Other than that we haven't made any fixed plans for that area.
I'd love to go riding a horse but I don't think my sister will be up to it.
Anyway, on September 3rd we will continue our trip by train (well, first we'll have to get back to Exeter by bus, obviously) to Southampton and from there by ferry to the Isle of Wight. And there we'll be staying for the remaining three nights in another, not as nice but cheap, B&B. We haven't made any plans for what to do on the island but mostly enjoying the beautiful landscape I guess.
And finally, on September 6th, we'll take a plane from Southampton back to Germany, to Düsseldorf this time. It shouldn't be too hard to catch a train back to Bonn from there.

That's it so far.
If anyone has any further suggestions for what to do, what to see... I'm all ears.
