So, wait, this whole place is a clock and it's counting down to our deaths? Greeeeeat.

There's gotta be some kinda way to stop it. Jam the gears, maybe? Is it possible to kill a city that's alive?

Well, dissolving's gotta be just as bad. Either way, I'm not stickin' around for it.

Considering that many here are already "dead" ( myself among them) that may not be the eventual outcome. After all how can one die agian?

As to jamming the gears; I believe we should better understand the nature of the carousel before attempting to destroy it.

(( OOC: sorry, I hit post acidentally before ^^;; ))

You got a better explanation for what Kaen said?

We don't know if we've even got the time to. I say someone should break into it and see what makes it tick.

It is large enough that one could concievably study it without destroying it.

I believe the carousel itself is the key component, being the only piece of the mechanism that is readily visible.

Study what? Wood horses and chipped paint? What're we gonna find out from that?

I was not suggesting staring at wood and chipped paint, but rather study the significant workings of the mechanism in relation to the carousel.

If this city is, indeed, a giant clock, it would stand to reason that clock would need to be periodically wound. The carousel is the only piece of the mechanism that could be safely tampered with, thus I believe it to be the "winding-knob" for the entire mechanism.

As to simply destroying it? Well,I am sure you are aware this city is more than capable of defense. If we were to attack the "heart" of it , as it were, do you not think it would take steps to inhibit us?

Damn. That makes entirely too much sense.

How d'we know it hasn't been wound already and they're just letting it run out?

...

Then, shall I venture to assume I am correct in these theories, Mr. Yoshito?

Yeah, man. A+ from Yoshito! But Yoshito thinks you forgot to mention that everyone'll go KABOOM even if they're not in the city. Tick tock, tick tock~ ♥

...I'm afraid I do not understand?

Are you meaning to say that once.."tainted" by the city, one will be tied to it's fate whether they are able to return to thier world of origin or not?

The city's connected to everywhere, man. How else do ya think you ended up here? Slideway and sideways, freeways and all the ups and downs you can find.

Tick tock, tick tock. We're in the center of all slants and angles, babe.

Tainted or not, the show's gonna go on till it stops ♥

...

You are saying that when this world ends, all worlds end?

That this isn't just 'a' nexus point, but 'the' nexus point?

((OOC: Please note: when V talks in short sentences it means he's in shock))
