Entertaining? to an extent I suppose, but I have difficulty simply ignoring the suspicion we are all meant to "relax" and not think too terribly hard on why we are here, and what this place exactly is.
My thanks for the offer, but I think the creature is rather impervious to usual weapons.
He dislikes being set on fire, though it does not kill him. Niether to blades, bullets nor what many of the cities' inhabitants call "magic", for that matter.
I think ,perhaps, he is best trapped until a satisfactory means of disposal may be found.
I dunno if he'd stay trapped cause in the Underworld I got chased by these funny-lookin dogs that came out of corners not from around a corner but out of the actual corner.
This is rather depressing. Especially since I'm already dead to begin with.
Somewhat, and I fear I am in the same predicament being dead myself.
As stated before I can not say whether we are all going to die, but based on Kaen's comments I would say something very dire will happen if the countdown continues to it's resolution.
I believe these "curses" are a means of distracting us from this countdown, and if that is the case; it would stand to reason there may be something done to slow it, if not stop it all together.
None taken whatsoever, madam, and may I also extend my sympathies to your situation as well?
That's one thing. I think another thing would be that there's a way for all of us to return to where we're from, before this countdown ends.
That is a fact, proven by the street vendor Dorian. She requires a heavy toll for the keys, but as evidenced by Sir Hellsing; one can find thier own gateways without Dorian's aid.
And Kaen is a mean mean person.
If he is a 'person' at all? Regardless he is indeed petty, cruel, and in my opinion; an extension of this city.
On a more comfortable note: I am not sure if we have been formerly introduced, madam?

There's gotta be some kinda way to stop it. Jam the gears, maybe? Is it possible to kill a city that's alive?

As to jamming the gears; I believe we should better understand the nature of the carousel before attempting to destroy it.

Perhaps there is a way to slow this countdown, if not halt it?
Why else would the city be attempting to distract us from this countdown if it is impossible to halt it?

...So, your theory is, in a way, we're going to die here if this clock finishes its countdown?

If not, I do apologise for the breach of manners.
