I think you summed it up in your boss's statement: "You're too hard on yourself."

You aren't just sliding by in this job, you aren't just squeaking. You are excelling, and you know it . . . you have made your boss's job easier because you handle his (loveable) wackiness and zeal for his responsibilities and the mix-ups it causes. You wrap things up in nice bows for your scatterbrained supervisor and on the few occasions your ministry doesn't result in manageable bows, you still manage to leave the stress at work. (Unlike some OT students we could name)

I know you do these things well, cuz you do them all the time for me, and I don't even pay you. There is mystique in the Josh-aura that calms and sorts things, instills perspective and fosters insight, and that is not a quality that can be 'trained' into someone. It's gonna make you a great Daddy, and we'll get there sooner than either of us thinks.

And finally (I know, just like in real life . . . I really enjoy the sound of my own typing!) I just want to share something that I failed to mention yesterday when we were talking about our days: Found another four-leaf clover . . .

Now get in there and keep Joshin' the Josh.
