So, I have been at my job at Loyola for about 8 months now and yesterday was my first, annual performance review. I have to say that it was pretty stressful when I went through my three month probationary period review and this is just that much more stressful (although if I got a bad three month review I wouldn't have kept my job, but this one effects my pay so there you go). Now I know that I shouldn't have worried quite as much as I did, but what can you do. I even had a horrible dream where I was in a job where I had no idea what I was doing and what was going on (that was interspersed with this weird horror movie type situations like killers and blood - not sure what that had to do with my job. . .). It had taken me a couple of days to complete my review as Human Resources has this form that we need to complete that asks about everything, four times, in twelve different ways. So anyway, when I finally had my review it went about how I thought it would. I was told what I did wrong and what I did well and I didn't do as poorly as I thought.
But the dream was pretty weird and creepy.
