Way behind....
Looking at my live journal, I just realized I am about 9 months to an entire year behind on discussing shoots I have had...and at least a year behind on updating my two sites. Don't know how this kind of thing happens. I guess I am more concerned with shooting than discussing shoots or posting.
Needless to say, I have been shooting quite regularly and am very happy with the work (once a week or more). I have been off exploring three main subjects for my sessions recently. On Wednesday I have a shoot with 2 co-workers where the fellow will be standing in as a prop for a lady that wants erotica shot of herself for an upcoming book she is working on.
The long and short of it is, I have worked with a few girls from Model Mayhem, I have not worked with a few nutcases I ran into on Model Mayhem (this is the draw back for soliciting out to models, you sooner or later meet a nut. I do not believe, I have ever met a nut via a referral from a model I have worked with...photographer's referrals, well that is another story entirely). Also I have shot with Palegothgodess and Bgirl420; still have not worked with Becky again and doubt that will happen for some time currently. And (yeah, I will start a sentence with, "And," so there!) I doubt very much I will be attending any more group shoots locally or otherwise. I can get good work at them and generally do but honestly, this is stuff I can do on my own. I am pretty patient so the allure of being able to work with 5 models in 3 hours really does not sway me. I don't generally like to hob knob and unfortunately I have met one too many weirdos at these things....I have also met some truly amazing and kind people at them, but I get the sense I would have approached them on my own in time. So unless I see someone on an attendance list, from out of state or country that seems super extraordinary, I am done with these.
