I left for Pittsburgh with my family this morning, and I'm always reminded of how much I hate Indiana every time I travel through it. For instance, I think that Indiana may be the USA's largest supplier of "abortion stops a beating heart" and "try Jesus" billboards. Yeah, fun stuff, let me tell you. ;-) Oh, and I think I counted over 50 Bush/Cheney bumper stickers in Indiana alone. Heh.
But it's cool, I'm in Pittsburgh now and I'm foreseeing that I'm going to have a reasonably good time this week. (Not to mention the fact that I get to listen to my favorite radio station! They have streaming audio, check it out: www.wyep.org )
Hmm, I'm rambling beause I don't really have that much to say but I felt like updating anyway. Oh, did anyone know that Margaret Cho has made an appearance on Sesame Street? Crazy stuff, I was flipping through channels this morning while I was packing, and I came to Sesame Street and was like "wow, that looks *just* like Margaret Cho!!" So then upon further inspection, I realized that it *was* Margaret Cho. In one way, that's really cool, but it's also slightly disturbing. Okay, I'm off to go sing happy birthday to my grandma -she's 75 today!
