Hey guys

just a question!

I'm sick and tired of not being able to buy convenience food to take to work (besides tons of beans and cauliflower which arent good for me to eat if i have a few hours ahead of me with people around.. hahaha) and i dont want to always be eating takeout. so i was wondering what you guys do for work/school lunches?

i was thinking about freezing stir fry but im not sure how that would work out. I normally have leftovers in the fridge for a couple days, but maybe if i made a big batch: could i freeze it? i normally include things like various peppers, mushrooms, tofu, bok choy, bean sprouts, onions and whatever frozen mixed veg i have on hand. Mainly, i want to know... does rice freeze well to be reheated? what about noodles? if that doesnt work out maybe i can bring some of that 2 minute instant microwave rice and just freeze the veggies and sauce.

one more thing: The only time ive tried fake sandwich meat it was VILE. and ive never bothered to try it again. I think locally we can get tofurky slices and yves.. maybe a couple others. Any recommendations on this? if im desperate for a sandwich i normally go for the yves pepperoni slices and do a pizza sub.

tips for anyone else wondering the same: some good solutions ive found are pre-made salads (add something extra if you want), "petes soyganic"( http://www.sunrise-soya.com/page231.htm ) tofu, individual microwave soups, and lots of leftovers from supper.

thanks!!
Erica
