May Diversions, part 2
The original post about what I read/watched/listened to/otherwise entertained myself with in May is here; as coalescent correctly noted, it was a week early. As I pointed out to him, not much was going to change in that final week.
One thing that did change is that we finished watching S3 of The Wire, and bloody good it was too. Thematically it worked better than S2, and felt like a natural successor to S1. despotliz's summary neatly capture most of my reactions too, although I might add that Cedric Daniels' bum lived up to all my expectations and was well worth the wait :-)
And I'm already struggling with The Golden Notebook, but I will persevere... for now.
