Hey-ya~
Ok, not much has happened lately. Cept for the usual beratings from mom about my "spending habbits" and everything else from my time spending enjoying myself and little time spending on school, which is kinda right. Pretty much when I come home I feel drained and don't want to do anything for the rest of the day because I didn't do much at work which bores the hell outta me causing me to be tired of doing nothing. So my brain is drained from any spark of energy and thinking about studies makes me cry unfortunately. Anyways, onto good news. Sometime ago maybe 2-3 weeks ago I recieved a message from Jacon saying that my panel is go for Jacon. They also gave me my schedule, 6-7 PM, Friday, during Opening Ceremonies. Yeah it sux but that's ok. You gotta start somewhere and for a "nobody" like myself shouldn't complain for the break I've been given. So my "Anime Organization Leadership Panel" is set for Jacon and I'm excited for that. I just gotta swing by the old unit, talk to Col. and see if he's willing to lend me some books to catch up and have some more material lol.
This past weekend was a bit much. I went to FreeCon on Sat. for a day and it was a VERY long day for me. Had to get up at 6 to get ready to pick someone up at 7, meet up at Denny's at 8AM. Did I mention I was up till like 1 because I had to see Grindhouse with a member because he turned 21 Friday? Had breakfast with the crew and hit the road for 3 hours or so. Get to the con to be surprised it being small and on one floor. I should have expected the small space because it's a College Con like A.E. but damn, A.E. had a bit more room than this lol. Even though FreeCon can be disputed and confused with ClaustraphobiaCon, it made up with some entertaining events and I enjoyed myself. I give FreeCon 7/10 for being a fun con. Oh man, the drive home was longer because apparently "I" got us lost. It's hard to think when you're getting complaints left and right while you're driving. It's definately hard to make everyone happy. This is true because when everyone agreed to make a pitstop for some food (considering the fact we ate only once all day around 9 and it was 7:30-8 atm) I got 1 request no Mickey D's, then another request for no Hardees, so as we're driving and I take a glance at the road menu for food places and I notice a Burger King because I heard more complaints "no Taco Bell" and "no Arby's" so I made a judgement call and went for Burger King. It was <-- 0.4 and all I hear from the radio was "Ricky, why are we driving 4 miles away from the interstate for food?!" I swear, all people do is complain when I do something when it comes to making a fuckin decision. We got back in the city around midnight but before that we parted ways after one last pump. Dropped off DJ, got home, Ray left, I stayed up till 1AM checkin my messages and then went to sleep. Yesterday was short because relatives were leaving and I had slept till 12:30 lol. At least I said hi/bye before they left lol. Ok, that is all.
