I've been living in Seoul, South Korea for a little over three weeks now, and been a happy, well-fed vegan for just as long. I am planning on studying abroad in Japan in a year or so. I am worried about being able to live there for a couple months and continue being vegan. I know that a lot of stuff is cooked in fish broth/fish oil there. Does anyone have anymore information on being vegan in Japan? Is there a vegan movement there?
