Chestnuts

i have some chestnuts that I need to use ASAP. they're already skinned and shelled (which kinda sucks cos I LOVE roasted chestnuts with the shell on!)

Anyway, other than using them in stews, I've never really cooked with chestnuts before. Any favourite things to do with them? It would be great if the chestnuts can be kept whole. or chopped up -- just anything but pureed.Thanks!
