So I have a gift card to a local department store in my home town. I really could use a good pair of warm winter boots as the ones I have now really aren't that warm. I don't have the money to go out and buy a pair on my own so I was hoping to use this gift card to get a pair.
Now they have a good deal of man made material boots (I checked the labels) but a lot of them have what looks like fur on them because that's the trend these days. The tags inside also say faux fur but I feel like I read somewhere if its 2% or less of real fur they can label it as 'faux'. Is this true? Should I trust a 'faux fur' label or should I not? I'm asking because the materials that make up these look a little warmer than the others and lack the ridiculous heels but truth be told, even if it is entirely faux, it does kinda look too real to creep me out anyway.
But I have advanced stages of lyme disease so I need something to keep the cold out and my joints workable.
Any insight or links to this being true if it is, would be great. Thanks!
