jumps racing decision

May 18, 2009 16:25

Jumps racing in Victoria is not going to be banned.

The new changes are useless and I hate everybody, including the commenters who applaud the decision because jumps racing is part of Melbourne's "rich tapistry".

Grrr.

*ANGRY*

Also, people who can't spell shouldn't be allowed to make decisions or comment on them.

Or even write the article. Is there no editor?

I'm sorry, but Melbourne's "rich tapestry"? I'm sorry but Australia was founded by people who screwed over the indigenous population, they have no right to have any sort of tapestry.

The history excuse is always laughable. "The past is awesome, at least this list of parts of which I approve." Ugh.

Oh no. I'm sure a lot of people approve of the other parts.
I mean, it's not ~our~ fault, dontcha know?

These pricks were never going to ban it anyway.

It was all just an effort to look like the racing industry actually cared.

These people should get jobs that don't involve making money from animals.

Yes indeed. Awesomesauce, as bitspike would say. Also my only opportunity to look at young women's naked bottoms with the full approval of my wife. (Don't tell me you didn't notice that scene.)

Ugh. There was a snippet of the story on an ad for the news last night. Rob was going "Ugh aarrrrgh, oh no I hate seeing horses fall, ugh errgh".
Given his commotion, I wasn't quite sure what the story was so asked. He said the story was about "a horse falling in a race" then kept repeating that he doesn't like seeing horses fall. (of course, the news story was NOT about that, but whatever).

It just irritated me because he doesn't like it, but does nothing about it. And I don't think he's even against horse-racing. He just doesn't like to see them fall. That and, you know, the fact that he's perfectly fine with the torture of other animals. (but I can't diss him because he used to be a vegetarian. -_-)
