holy shit. That is one accommodating room mate. You are very lucky. And sometimes when people say they will NEVER go vegan they surprise even themselves. But, for the moment anyway, i'd just be super happy to live with someone so understanding. Yey for you!

(my father just made me happy a few days ago when he wrote me in an e-mail (he's on holidays) that he apologized for making fun of my vegan christmas cookies because they were vegan (i'm just going vegan and he's not quite accepted/used to it yet) - and that when he said in the end that they tasted great he really meant it :p)

you are SO.LUCKY.

i left around tons of pampheltes when i lived with my last room mate and eventually he decided he at least wanted to go one week vegetarian.
but then the whole fucking week, he literally ate just tuna!
and i kept explaining, "hey. no one goes out to water their tuna trees...can't go down to the store and pick up some tuna seeds....that's...not vegetarian at all!"
and then BITCHING the entire fucking week (he only lasted 5 days!) about how hard it was being a vegetarian!
