Vegan happiness is...
When you're roommate who "Can't live without meat " calls you from the store to ask which soap and tooth paste is animal friendly. :)
He also is going two days a week without eating meat. When I got home the other day he looked all excited. He told me he gave his leather jacket to the homeless shelter and traded out leather handle kitchen knives for a set of plastic handled ones.
He's SO thoughtful. I can talk openly and freely as to why I am vegan and he doesn't get offended. He has his own pots and pans for meat so that he doesn't cook meat in my things. He also like to share things he's found dealing with animals he thinks I might enjoy. He will only cook eggs when I'm not home so that I don't have to mell it.He has told me he will NEVER go vegetarian or vegan, but that since we were living together he feels he needs to be respectful of me.
