Yo.
So I'm sure this has been brought up before, but unfortunately it’s extremely cyclic. Does anyone have any good resources that prove plants do NOT feel pain, and in doing so, disprove some of the main points made by omnivores who spout such ridiculous nonsense. My download is really really slow at the moment, other wise I would have checked all the tags like a good girl. My partner brought this up today (not for the first time), but I didn't have any resources or studies that I could actually refer to. I did a little bit of searching just now and could only really get sites that I didn't think had very credible resources. Basically I know that they have chemical reactions when they're under threat and can even warn other plants, but obviously they don't have a nervous system, so, in terms of how we define pain, they aren't capable of experiencing this sense. So yeah, if anyone can help me out it would be very much appreciated. He will pretty much argue anything to the death so I need to be heavily armed. lol.
