One of the arguments that I've found the most logical and persuasive on people when it comes to giving up meat is of course relating it to environmental efforts. Most people are willing to agree that meat production plays a part in global warming, but I've never been able to find actual numbers. Anyone ever manage to find some kind of percentage estimate of the greenhouse gases that meat production is responsible for, or anything similar?
