Vegan ink
New ink! Done at Down To Earth Tattoo, Essendon, Victoria, Australia. The artist (Rob) has been vegan for 12 years and uses all vegan ink. For aftercare I used a vitamin e cream with wheatgerm oil from the health food shop and it has healed up really well.
The tattoo is of the Tree of Life with birds flying around the top (I imagine in protection of life) and reads "Vegan, semper fidelis" (which in Latin means 'always faithful' - and yes, I know it is associated in the US with the Marines but meh, I'm in Australia!). It looks blurry in this photo because I'd just had it done and there was some excess ink smeared around.
