I  know that some people here aren't really Peta fans, but then again, we are all pretty much anti fur so I thought I'd share this with you guys/gals.  If you aren't into Second Life yet, the only thing I can compare it to is a ( Read more... )

ugh, why aren't there any men in that picture?
Fuck peta for objectifying women. Even though men don't typically wear fur coats - they still do and they can still take a stand to never wear them, even if the intention was never there to begin with. Women buy fur coats for vanity reasons and then PETA uses women obsessed with vanity to shun something about vanity... Twisted logic, I have a hard time respecting that part.
Plus, it's stupid to deny that animals suffer and die for breast implant testing, it's stupid for PETA to endorce people who are okay with that but dislike fur.

Men wear fur trim, fur hats, fur lined gloves, and even sometimes, fur coats.

PS. One of my rescued rabbits was taken from a farm due to animal cruelty. She has very unusual fur, it's extremely short and very soft. She is a type of purebred, so we asked why they were raising rabbits like that on a farm. Apparently they were raisng them for fur lined gloves and hats.

Thanks. It was actually animal control that confiscated the bunnies from the farm. But we talked to the rescue and they said white rabbits with pink eyes have trouble getting adopted. So we took her and another white rabbit with pink eyes. But the other one, Josephine, has longer fur and is a different type apparently even though they look a lot alike.
