Give Animals their Fur Back!
Someone recently posted an entry about JC Penny's RACCOON fur trim Jacket.
As a wildlife rehabhilitator for raccoons and an all around animal lover, this just makes me sick.
Winter is coming and we'll soon be seening ads for fur and leather all over the place
so I just wanted to remind everyone, or anyone who hasn't seen this, of the
Coats for Cubs programme. www.coatsforcubs.com
If you haven't seen it, real quick, you can donate old furs to the Humane Society and they give them to rehabbers for the animals to make them feel more comfortable without their moms.
Trust me, the little baby raccoons love it, and I'm sure that other orphaned babies do too!
