I don't think they have them all over, but here in Detroit, Coney Island makes the greatest veggie burger I have ever tasted...I get one almost every time I'm there.

Are the veggie burgers cooked on the grill that the burger juice is covering?

there's no actual veggie burger, it's just vegetables on a hamburger bun.
the only thing i worry about when ordering one of these is what's in the hamburger bun. I think it's BK that has lard in their buns.

Then why order it? If something has lard in it then it is not vegan. Most buns in fast food places have some form of animal product, same as the fries. Most places from Wendy's to Burger King use some form of animal fat in fries or the same oil as non-veg products.

This just made my LIFE. When I first went vegan, the only food I missed was In-N-Out. Thank you!

i read this post and went out to In N Out tonight and ordered this veggie burger, but it was only lettuce and tomatoes. Is that what yours came with?

Oh, and it had thousand island dressing on it.

My sandwich had lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles, more of a raw vegetable sandwich than an actual "burger" (which I mentioned in the post). When I ordered I specified that I didn't want In-N-Out special sauce or mayonnaise, so they gave me ketchup and mustard instead.
