So this community was created in response to this post. Well that was my motivation anyways.
To sum the post up (if you don't want to read it), I am wondering about how we have a few vegan communities splintered off. Namely veganpeople and veganism but also vegan_talk.
My concerns:
1. Cross-posting.
2. People joining one community that is less active and not knowing about the other communities (so they can obtain more responses).
3. Efficient use of moderator resources (more of us means: posts are checked more often for trolls etc, relevant posts put in the FAQ more often, and less concern if someone goes away on vacation).
4. The splintering of the vegan LJ community. It would be nice if everyone saw the same posts (more responses etc).
Also, do you think we should open this community to those who are not mods but want to voice their opinions on how the LJ vegan communities should be improved?
