(no subject)

Well, I just joined, and I thought I should post right away, because I wasn't even totally sure I should accept the invitation, and this is why:

I joined vegandebate quite a while ago, and then I became a moderator. I had a really hard time communicating with the other moderator of that community, as she hardly ever responded to my emails or participated in the community. A while back I changed my username (due to some issues with my personal journal) and I pretty much dropped out of the community at that time. My old username was never removed as a moderator, and it seems like the community has been pretty much abandoned moderator-wise, but I didn't think I could do much about it. I haven't even looked at for a long time, until I got an invitation today to join this community. When I checked vegandebate's user info I was shocked to see that I am listed with my current username, as the maintainer!
I see that v3g4n is a moderator in this community, and IIRC, she was the original maintainer of vegandebate.
So at this point, I feel bad, as if I've abandoned vegandebate, but I'd be more than happy to pick up the reins for that one again IF I can get a new co-mod. I don't have time to moniter that community on my own right now, as I work full time, have a child and am opening my own business.
I hope to have some more time in the future after the business is actually open, in October, but I still think I should have a good co-mod. The other co-mod for the community was really just never helpful at all, I'm sorry to say.
So I figured this would be a good place to ask for advice on this subject.
