Gnocchi-Ravioli

Tonight I tried something a bit different, a gnocchi-ravioli type dish. They were each about the size of my palm and stuffed with a mix of Bac'un Bits, onion, and green pepper. I served them with tomato sauce, white peaches and spinach salad.

What's gnocchi like? The closest I've come to making it was on Cooking Mama. :D I was going to buy some, but there were some questionable ingredients in it.

Potato-y, but pasta-y. It is a little thicker than, say, a pirogi, which is similar. The texture went really well with the filling.

Also, you probably know, but normally gnocchi isn't stuffed... It's still good with a tomato or other yummy sauce.

I LOVE CARROT CAKE! Did you make little individual cakes? I can't really tell from the picture, but it looks small.

It was SO GOOD. It is a full cake... There isn't really anything there to judge the size other than that it is sitting on one of those big glass thingies for cakes and pies.
