I'm cooking breakfast (for around 30-50) at Kebele again on 24th October, and was considering making kedgeree (rice and lentils with bit of saffron/smoked paprika/other spices and some roast veg running through it). Also trying to keep it all gluten-free.

Was wondering what side dishes I could put with it.

Any suggestions welcome.

As I've mentioned here before, I work in the banquet kitchen of a country club. We don't specialize in vegetarian food at all, but we will often have banquets, particularly weddings, when we have an order of 4-5 vegetarian/vegan meals in addition to the regular orders of prime rib and chicken and all that ( Read more... )

Hello. I just got engaged! Whew!

We found a great venue for our ceremony and reception, a metro park. The only bad thing about having our wedding at the park is that the reception hall "comes" with contrated caterers-- we have to use them.  That is bad news, since we already had two vegan caterers in mind.
