Raw Vegan Brownies. No eggs, no sugar, no chocholat....no kidding??

Yes! These are so wonderful! My non-vegan husband even loves them and asked me to make more! These are 100% toddler approved!! Leo finished one and was saying "More! More!" (I saw brownies in the archives but none like this that I could see...)

mmmm this sounds soooo good. I love putting mixed nuts and dates in my food processor and then adding it to yogurt or making food bars..... but I have never thought to add ground cacao. I'm gonna have to try this.

I wonder if this would work with any nuts + any dried fruit?

Maybe almonds + dried apricots?

Or would it have to be soft nuts like walnuts or pecans...

It doesn't have to be soft nuts, I've used just almonds before. I'm not sure how sticky and soft apricots would get when they are chopped up, but seems like they would work. If it's not super sticky, instead of rolling them into balls, just flatten it down in a pan, put it in the fridge and then slice it into bars. I've done this before, but I lined the pan with wax paper.

oops I thought this was a comment to a post I made in a different vegan community about fruit and nut bars that I made. hahah... It pretty much still makes sense though.
