I completely agree that Snape carried his weight in the novels. Seeing what he went through in his younger life really made me appreciate him more than I did at the beginning.

And I love Spiderman! As you said, it's interesting seeing a hero struggle with the ordinarily daily stuff while also trying to save the world.
