A/N: This fic came from an inspiration out of nowhere, so i'm not really sure if i'm ever gonna finish it. Posted this because thatawkwardmich ordered me to. So here goes.

A streak of jagged light flashed across the darkened sky, momentarily lighting up the sleeping world. Half a nanosecond later, a deafening thunder shattered the silence of the night.

Kim Kibum awoke with a jolt, and sat up on his bed, eyes frantically scanning the room for possible signs of danger. He was trembling with fear, and sweat came down in bullets on his pale face. Heaving to catch his breath, Kibum began to relax as he realised it was just a dream. Hands still shaking, he reached for his Blackberry on the tabletop and started tapping furiously.

"So thats all?" Kim Jonghyun queried the next morning, raising one eyebrow.

"Damn it Jjong, I saw you being killed! You think thats funny?" Kibum shot at him exasperatedly.

"Well, no.. But still, its a lot less worse than the previous ones. You know, instead of a car I might be hit by a train or something in your dream again. Just like last week," Jonghyun shrugged.

Kibum shuddered involuntarily at the visual. Deeply grateful that the previous dream did not materialize into reality, he hoped fervently that this dream would be the same. Giving Jjong an annoyed shove, he sat down on a small table beside them and sipped his Starbucks coffee glumly. Jonghyun joined him at the table shortly after, muffin and coffee in each hand.
Eyeing Jonghyun with concern, Kibum sighed.
Sometimes he wished that he could go to sleep and wake  up like normal people.

Kibum was born special, he knew it. And sometimes he has dreams. Most of these dreams come true, some of them don't.
The dreams were not all bad, though.
Last month he dreamt of buying those beautiful pair of boots which caught his eye at the mall, which he obviously could not afford. The very next day, he went back into the mall again, desperate for some sign that he might actually be able to buy those boots. And voila! To Kibum's delight, those boots were on sale. He remembered being so happy as he touched the shiny leather of those boots, and buying them had literally become a dream come true.

But this time, he had a bad feeling about this dream. It just didn't feel right.

What if it came true? A small voice nagged at Kibum.
