I has a grumpy face.

Yup. I'm still in London. I got all packed up and ready to get outta here last night. Then this morning Mo and I went to trek to the bus very very early. We opened the front door to see a snow storm. We trudged through it to the bus stop about a 10 minute walk from their house. All the while dragging a pile of snow with me and my suitcase. We stand at the bus stop for nearly 30 minutes and dont see any buses come through. And then a guy comes by and says all the bus lines are stopped because of the weather. Hrmph. So we head back to the house to get on the internet. All the bus lines in London were down and half of the tube lines were down as well. BUT the airport said all flights were still leaving and things were good. So I called a cab and we head over to the airport in a storm. Which BTW was a sweet little right hand drive Prius. It was weird driving in a car like mine but backwards... Anyways I get to the airport and the story is still the same, fights are all OK. I check in and go through security and hang out for a bit since I was still early. At 8:15 when the gate was supposed to be announced I sat near the screens waiting. It said "please wait" for about 45 minutes and then flashed to cancelled. At the transfer desk they tell us that we have to leave the airport, there isnt another flight going out even on other airlines and their next flight is the next morning. We had to retreive our bags and also go back through customs. I had met a few other travelers in line and we had bonded together. We had talked about getting a hotel together and such but after awhile it didnt see so possible so I broke off from them and hopped in a cab back to Uxbridge. The entire school was covered in snow, and there were snowball fights everywhere. I got settled back into Mo & phyllis' and they were both home on a snow day as well. So we bundled up and headed to a food at a place on campus. It was the only thing open and it was rammed. But we met up with some of their friends and had a few pints and it momentarily got my mind off of not being on my way home. I went to Lisa's place for a bit and swaped some movies and music and then headed back home to eat dinner. I have a flight booked for tomorrow morning, and the snow has let up. Cross your fingers for me.

Also, I know I haven't written about Berlin yet. It was beautiful and slightly snowy. But it was also cold, and mildly depressing and amazing that all of these terrible things have happened in such recent history. I will hopefully get back to that at a later time... but right now is just not it.

XO hope to see some of you soon.
