The High Feast of Ostara is one of my favorite holidays. Ostara, goddess of the dawn/east, brings light and life to the land to drive away winter. Have you ever noticed flowers blooming in the snow? Trees peeking small white-green buds, the birds and other wildlife come out of hiding. Truly, winter must be driven away, or she will stay forever.
