................... It currently shows no signs of malnutrition. However, it is emitting a small noise at regular intervals.

It probably just wants to be petted.

Petted? Like... Stroking it?

Have you never had a pet before?

I believe I understand.

A pet?

...An animal that you look after. Cats and dogs are pretty common as pets in the living world.

................... Perhaps I am Shion's "pet". I shall ask her when next we meet.

This feline is now my "pet", then, correct?

...People can't be pets.

If you want it to be.

I am not a human. I cannot be counted as "people".

If I want... Very well, then.

Like Nemu? But you're not an animal...

Do you have a name?

But that doesn't make you a pet. It just means... You're not like everyone else. But that isn't a bad thing! There are lots of different people out there anyway.

Ah, I did mean for the cat-- But it's nice to meet you, KOS-MOS. I'm Hinamori Momo.

There does not appear to be any identification present on the animal.

A pleasure to meet you as well, Hinamori Momo.

Then you should definitely give it one, if you're going to keep it. You can probably find some books on looking after cats in the shops, too.

That sounds reasonable.

................ However, I do not know what name I would give such an animal.
