After reading a Fark thread on scary-looking beauty pageant contestants, I decided to compile my own list, a list which I also commented into outintospace's post that pointed me to said thread, Fred.

that and one of the peeps on Fark posted the most telling comment that these pics are more about the photographer and touch up person. some of the better ones are because someone is real good with photoshop.

While some of those are scary, the majority--at least half, anyway--just seem like not-so-great pictures of either normal-looking or attractive girls.

I expected to see something more along these lines:
