Just a rough little something to get this scene out of my head. And what is it with me and the unpopular canon pairings? I'm hoping to find more Viktor/Hermione in OotP, too.

No beta, so it may make sense only to me, but here's a Sark/Allison snippet.

Almost, (but totally not quite) reminds me of a Marita/Krycek dynamic but there's something that's just quite unique about these two.

You know, as I wrote this I started to think, "Hm... Allison could really turn into another Marita for me, in that once I start writing her point of view she would just take over the story." So I'm kind of hoping that she's dead, because I'm not sure I want that to happen. Me and the utterly inexpressive characters, again.

Poor Sark and Alison. At least we know just how badly it will end for them. I'm glad you liked this--I was hoping to use it to distract me from the Roadtrip, so I don't know if there will be more.

Intriguing glimpse into Sark and Allison's past---they met on a hit? That's a tasty little tidbit.

And Allison's "Don't be stupid" is perfect. I could hear her in the finale, saying those words to Sark. Now I'll always think that was a habitual phrase of hers.

Hey, I'm just making all of this up as I go along. We know so little about Allison--she's self-contained--but it seems probable to me that she became attached to Will and that her attachment took her by surprise. So I thought I'd play with that.

Thanks! I'm really thrilled that you like it, and also pretty pleased that I'm sucking you in to the fandom. (And the answer, at least in Allison's case, is "a very minor character indeed." I wanted to know who she was, too, so here we are.)
