First of all, Sam Winchester has gone to the top of the list of people FrankenTim should have got a crack at in the box. Top of the list. Not Dean. Dean would just irritate Frank, and an irritable Frank is no fun at all. But Frank would enjoy a little conversation in the box with Sam.
This episode is marvelous. It is making me insanely happy. I actually have almost nothing coherent to say about it, because I am filled with joy. I mean, it's just Sam! And Dean! And their stories! and the way they know each other so well!
Oh, Dean is looking particularly hot this evening. I guess that's coherent. And Sam is being especially charming. I loved his scenes with Diane.
And the ghost is scaring me, as ghosts often do. I really like the way the plot is building. Even though it was totally obvious from the first minute that the detective (the male one) was a bad egg, and the spirit was obviously some kind of warning, because of how she was described at the foot of the bed and all. But I liked Diane, who keeps her head and is observant and doesn't lose her nerve. Although I think letting them go at the end was kind of cop-out for the character, they had to do that for the sake of the story, so I can live with it. I would totally add her to the list of excellent female guest characters.
Also, the ending cracked me up. I could really go for some pea soup now. Dean! You are such a dork!
SO MUCH FUN!!!!
(And re: the previews -- you all know how I feel about this, but faced with the possibility all I could say was, "Dean, don't do that. No, Dean, don't even try. Don't you do that." That's literally all I said, for the entire length of the preview. Because nothing good will come of that.)
Much with the squee, not so much with the analysis.
