(no subject)
There's this thing I do that is almost subconscious... I never learn more about some artists I like. I guess it's fearing they'll turn out to be douchebags.
I never really looked Yoshitaka Amano up because, frankly, I don't need more reasons to adore his work and I could pass without any news that he's an idiot.
Out of the blue though, I did a quick search today after so many years.

Dude is officially Van Gogh's room mate in my heart now. I want to be Mrs Tamna Amano and I don't even care if his surname sounds strange with my given name or for the silly 30+ age difference!
In all seriousness though, he seems to be quite an easy-going and all around adorable guy. From what I could make of his artistic view, I do truly love him for it. No wonder his illustrations are so breath-taking. He really let himself free to create.
Somebody FEDEX his fine artsy ass to my place, please.
