Welcome back, have a nice rain.
Whines
1. Early bird tickets for Expo tomorrow are no longer on sale online. Apparently I can still buy one tomorrow though? So I should still be able to queue up with the rest of the f-listers going?
2. Yesterday it rained. Hard. So hard that water magically got into my bathroom ceiling space and was streaming FROM THE LIGHT FIXTURE. D: I don't know how in the hell that can be fixed. I think the ceiling will have to be removed even to see what the hell is going on up there. At least this expense is not really mine - it's the responsibility of the freeholder.
3. It's cloudy, and I think I've got another minor cold.
4. We had an account with Nomi for doing our international calls. They've gone into administration, so we've lost the ten pounds or so that was still in our account. Definitely no point in chasing that up. Now have to find a replacement business. Any recs from the ex-pats?
5. I can't fix the power point plates neatly to the newly plastered and painted walls. Also, the plastering job was poorly done, and greet beeg gaps and lumpy mounds still exist around said power points. I really should have just done it myself. It would have taken forever, but it would have been done right.

1. Expo! I have a wish list this time so I don't get overwhelmed. It's pretty much limited to smutty DJs - RenIshi and 585, but if they're selling Chara Selection mag with Crimson Spell in it under a tenner I'll consider it, likewise other pretties... though, limiting it like this may mean I leave empty handed again.
2. Duran Duran! I'm going to channel my inner 8 yo and go nuts. Heading straight there from Expo. Ms Speed is meeting me and Simon (not Le Bon - don't get excited. Apparently that Simon has been a bit ill though, so hopefully it still goes ahead) at 6.30? I might try and arrange to meet them later than that, depending on how the Expo shenanigans are proceeding.
3. Picnic Monday! Maybe?? Weather report says 18 and white cloud... thoughts??
4. Greece was awesome. Down at the beach and outside everyday. Despite the 50+ sunblock, I did get a bit pink on my back one day. Will write the trip up in its own post.
5. We returned to an empty fridge, as you'd expect after 5 days. Shopping arrives today - recipes are:
Wombok salad with sesame dressing
Moroccan sweet potato, carrot and chickpea soup
Prawn, coriander & coconut rice salad
Italian sausage salad with fennel, feta & treviso
Strozzapreti, zucchini & pesto salad
Spiced Moroccan Salad

Watching Supernatural finale and Game of Thrones ep 6 tonight.
Droo episode felt like it was written in fountain pen and crayon in turns. Visually pretty, but "Clones are all evil mmmkay?" plot points were crowbarred in with the subtlety of a Hummvee, and it was painful to watch the poor character motivation as a result.
PLB has a ticket to watch the preview screening of the new Torchwood episode. Sadly, it was the very last ticket on sale, so I'm not going too.
