Keeping busy, keeping busy.

I never really did a huge overview of Busch Gardens, but the rides were great. Alpengeist was, in fact, just about as fun as my 6th-grade-self remembered it being. Griffon was a blast, too-- the drop has way much anticipation built in. Apollo's Chariot was pretty good; reminded me of Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure, but it just wasn't quite as smooth. Loch Ness Monster is a nostalgic good time-- they could build some sweet coasters in the 70s.
If anyone wants to see my in-depth posts about our day in the park, there are a bunch of them (with photos) over on Gather-- right here.

Being at the park had made me really want churros, so I ended up managing to make them at home. Tasty good, and not as hard as I thought they'd be. Really, the oil for frying is the hardest part, and it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. (Recipe and photos for that are here.

As I already posted about, went to see Warhorse with my mom last week. Fun time, also ate at Pigalle in NYC-- tasty stuff.

Working with Sarge. Want to get him to a show next month. Would love to be able to trailer him out places before that to get him more used to other situations, but finding time when my friend can trailer me is a pain. Anyone want to chauffeur us around? Haha. Can't wait until I can get a truck & trailer. Someday!

In a final bit of news, going to be putting some hours in at my old farmstand job. Supposed to go over there today, but it's raining, so we'll see.

Also, vending the Lakewood Renaissance Faire on September 17th & 18th. Come buy candles!
