ETA: You can report a bot here. I already did. It's easy and if loads of people do it, hopefully LJ powers react fast

I've had my whole flist be spammed, active comm, not comms, HP, Sherlock what not. I hate these fuckers who sent bots onto social networks.

I chose that icon with a good purpose in mind. I don't know what it is that enrages me about spammer bots but I go into immediate "defend our world"-mode. ;)

Massive reporting the bots is really the only way short of opening an LJ support ticket. And if this does not stop soon, I will open a support ticket.

Seriously. Virtually my entire LJ feed right now is nothing but Russian spam. I was relieved to see your post -- at least we haven't all been shut down!

I am happy for each legit post that shows up in the mess that is my feed right now. Some mods seem to have seen the spam and removed it quickly, others are probably not even online on a Saturday morning/afternoon. It's so incredibly annoying.

I've seen a lot of inactive comms being spammed, too. Hopefully LJ reacts quickly and removes the bot accounts.
