I hate spammers. And I wish there was an easy LJ function to just have them blocked from posting anything on Livejournal.

ETA: You can report a bot here. I already did. It's easy and if loads of people do it, hopefully LJ powers react fast

I chose that icon with a good purpose in mind. I don't know what it is that enrages me about spammer bots but I go into immediate "defend our world"-mode. ;)

Massive reporting the bots is really the only way short of opening an LJ support ticket. And if this does not stop soon, I will open a support ticket.

Yes, good idea - it's all over the place and totally indiscriminate which I'm hopeful means LJ will respond quickly. I'm keeping an eye on my comms too so I can delete it if it gets posted to any of those.
