visited Sembawang Music after gym.
then I saw the The Best of Beyond Compilation
4 CDs in all.
bought it without hesitation
now I am re-living the past years when Beyond was at their peak
as usual the music brings back feelings of nostalgia and wonderful memories of the past
sweet! or rather I should say oosh!
ya ya, i am an old foogie who loves Beyond
haha. but seriously, they are the only Chinese band who had managed to play (mat) 80's rock music in Chinese successful.
they captured the angsty, lornful yet rebellious / free-spirited soul of 80s rock.
now the only other Chinese band I listen to is 五月天. not the same as Beyond of course. but still a good band.
time to bring out the bandanna!
