time for bento ~♪

not a lot of bento this month. but lots of new boxes :D

1-2-3 boxes (one set) hunted out from IKEA children section x). Like the colours and the fact that they can be stack up.
4th box from my uncle's trip in Vietnam. He brought me 2 boxes but the blue one is way too big for me. Like the waterproof lid and separation of the first tier.
5th box from my family's trip in the US. My brother bought it from the Japantown in San Franscico :D Very little (i think it's around 250ml) but cute (lol @ the 'Happy Baer') and waterproof. Got another box but it look like a classic tupperware box, so I didn't took pictures.
11th picture (from the left to the bottom) was taken when I cleaned up the bento section. Not very large but I'm glad my mum gave me some space in the kitchen.
Last picture shows a bento I have never used yet. The contenance is a bit small, and I have no occasion to use.

now time for bento ~♪

GARDEN BENTO
→1/ heart-shaped rice, no-spicy ma po tofu / 麻婆豆腐, broccoli and cucumbers for decoration, 2 jellys
→2/ chinese soup
→ Yea! I finally got to use my new boxes! I was impatient during my 2 weeks-holidays but did something simple at the end.
Don't ask me what is the soup. I usually don't like soup but there were so many leftover that I ought to bring some for my lunch. But ... unfortunally some escape from the lid and wet a part of my bag (had my new laptop in the bag!).

GOLDEN CURRY BENTO
→1/ Japanese curry (beef, carrots, potatos, onion), rice (in the bottom) and bread
→2/ Chinese Spinach, Strawberry and cottage cheese pie.
→ Japanese curry ... isn't as good as I excepted. The sauce is already too salty, and the colour not attractive. But as curry, it suit very well with rice!
The pie was a great ...disaster not the thing I wanted at all. Well, it's edible (as the whole pie was finish in 2 days) but too chewy and overcooked. I couldn't even eat the pie (from bento) because some curry spilled over the pie D:.

SALAD AND RICE BALLS BENTO
→1/ 2 furikake-mixed rice balls, sesame stick, (american) cheese cheeros and french beans, pieces of beef
→2/ salad with tomotoes, corn and potatos
→  It was yummy!! As I ate the bento right away (well 30 minutes after, the time I reached school), the salad was still fresh.
The stick and cheeros (took randomly) were chewy after I heat up. I have to say that American Cheese Cheeros are the best! Non-comparable with France's ones.

Will work hard in doing more bento this month ^^ (though my school year is soon over)
